Types of Care

Your life, supported.

Retirement communities are all about choice. They are designed for seniors who want to live a somewhat independent lifestyle but who may need minimal to moderate support with their daily living activities.

Freedom

Freedom from maintaining a home and preparing meals.

Privacy

Enjoying privacy while knowing someone is aware of your well-being.

Community

Belonging to a community of peers and participating in that community.

Safety

Independent
Supported Living

Independent Supported Living provides the home environment of Independent Living with the option to add extra supportive care services such as assistance with dressing, bathing, grooming, and medication at any time.

Assisted
Living

Assisted Living provides a home environment with care services included in the service fee. These services include assistance with dressing, bathing, grooming, medication, and more. To help residents age in place, additional services can be added at any time.

Dementia Care or
Memory Care

Memory Care communities create supportive, safe, and secure environments for people with varying forms and levels of dementia, all while providing opportunities for residents to live life to the fullest through social, recreational, and fitness activities.

Short Term
Stays

Some retirement homes offer Short Term Stays for seniors who want to ‘test drive’ what it is like to live in a retirement home and understand all the benefits. Some individuals may also wish to recover from a hospital procedure and need extra support before they return to their own homes.
